Come and join us to learn more about microbial technologies for sustainable future!
Greenhouse gases (GHG) such as carbon dioxide and methane are major contributors to climate change. Concentrations of these greenhouse gases have varied during Earth’s history resulting in substantial climate changes, hence there is an urgent need to manage the emissions and promote sequestration of GHG for a sustainable future.
This workshop will not only lead to understanding the carbon dynamics, but also create new collaborations to advance technology applications. The workshop will promote sharing of science and technology updates between academia and industry. It also envisions building a community of researchers and industry experts to work together towards climate action and the earth’s sustainability.
Come and join us for the following talks.
- Plastic’s Quiet Role: Understanding its Greenhouse Gas Contributions – Dr Stephen Summers
- Microbial and Carbon Dynamics in the Human Impacted Green-Brown-Blue Tropical Ecosystems -A/P Sanjay Swarup
- Bio-innovations for sustainable aquaculture: a circular approach to carbon reduction – Dr Ezequiel Santillan
- Converting methane to food- A sustainable solution – Dr Yvonne Hii
